Due to various conflicts in our busy lives, we held our Thanksgiving dinner at our house,  on Saturday, November 29, 2008.  As usual, Sharlene cooked an outstanding dinner, and we had an enjoyable evening, enjoying a fine meal, and the wonderful company of some of our family and friends.

Photo:  Casey and Sharlene are in the kitchen, preparing our delicious Thanksgiving dinner.  Note the peeled potatoes on the counter, just in front of the coffee maker.

Photo:  Left to right, friends forever, Larissa, Nicole, Lori Lynn, and our adorable Casey.

Photo:  Feeding frenzy at our Thanksgiving table!

Photo:  My Thanksgiving plate.  Let's see, roast turkey, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, candied yams, string bean casserole and the obligatory fresh corn.  Simply, delicious!  My wife, daughters, and other relatives are great cooks. What do I contribute to the whole affair?  Not much, excpet that I move the tables around, take a lot of photos, and drink a lot of MJD.

Photo:  My adorable grand daughers, Tristen, and Raylene, strike a pose for my digital camera.

Photo:  I hold my darling grand daughter Tristen.  Talk about beauty vs. the beast... I'm proud to exhibit my grand daughter before my digital camera, as Sharlene takes the photo.

Photo:  At 5 years old, Tristen probably knows more about Windows Vista than I'll ever know.  I'm looking forward to her teaching me all about Windows 7 when the new operating system debutes next year.  I'm thinking that Tristen will probably have her own web site in the next year or so.

Photo:  OK, the morning after, how could you not desire a classic American breakfast of homestyle potatoes, bacon and eggs.  Despite the fact that I'm always watching my weight, I couldn't resist breaking away from the weekday breakfast mold of fruit, cold cereal, and a piece of toast.  Now this is the sort of breakfast that I love. Breakfast anybody?  Check out the antics of the Sacamento Breakffast Club for technical support concerning breakfast.
