The main dish is the centerpiece of every meal, and is in effect, the dish that defines the meal and sets the tone of it.  We love to be creative with our main dishes, and you'll find many tasty, easy to prepare dishes, for the centerpiece of a delicious meal.

Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes, and Carrots:  You don't have to wait until St. Patrick's Day to enjoy this delicious meal, as all you have to do is to throw the ingredients into a crock pot, let it cook and enjoy your meal.

Della's Tri-Tip:  This recipe is simple and easy to make, as you simply put the tri-tip roast into a crock pot, add a few ingredients, and let it cook.  This is a real crowd pleaser!

Family-Style Tacos:  Pure American-style tacos, these are real crowd pleasers for folks living north of the border.

Turkey Pie:  This recipe, which was passed down to me from my mother, is a delicious way to utilize leftover Thanksgiving turkey.

Southewestern Turkey Pie:  Take the turkey pie recipe, add a bit of corn, diced jalapeņo peppers, Mexican spices, and you take a turkey pie to a different part of the world!

Southwestern Smoked Turkey:  Dust off your backyard pit smoker, stuff a turkey with delicious cornbread and tortilla stuffing, smoke it over oak all day, and you have a delicious dinner.

Fish and Chips:  I spent a couple of weeks as an assistant cook at a restaurant that specialized in seafood, and I learned how to make beer-battered fish and chips.  If you love fish and chips, check out this recipe...
