Are you looking for a friendly diner in Green River, Utah?  Are you interested in delicious food, friendly service, convienient location and fair prices?  Are you especially interested in the best breakfast for miles around?  When you're visiting Green River, Utah, look no further than West Winds Restaurant, located within the friendly Sinclair truck stop.

As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  West Winds Restaurant is located in the Sinclair truck stop, on Main Street, in the middle of Green River, Utah.  Unless you know where to look, it's easy to miss the restaurant, as the truck stop, and parked big rigs make the restaurant a little hard to spot.

It's 8:00 in the morning, the date is Wednesday, September 19, 2018, and I'm ready to enjoy breakfast.

Photo:  As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice a gift shop in the foyer that sells many truck stop-oriented souvenirs, along with a small video arcade.

Photo:  Just past the gift shop, you'll be greeted by Gabriella, who will greet you and seat you.  Since I was dining alone, I chose to sit at the counter.  Besides meeting and seating, Gabriella answers the phone, pours coffee, and seems to do just about anything else that needs to be done.

Photo:  The main dining room, as you enter from the gift shop and the foyer.  I was definitely hungry for breakfast, and the counter was calling my name.

Photo:  The main breakfast menu features practically everything you could desire for breakfast, and seems especially slanted towards the tastes of long haul truck drivers.  Those folks have good taste!  I chose the "Traditional Breakfast," which is noted as a "West Winds favorite."

Photo:  After introducing myself to my friendly hostess, Dawna, and telling her all about my "restaurant mission," she and I got to talking about food, and restaurants in general.  She pointed out to me the recent paint  in the dining room and the foyer,  and pointed to a "welcome wall" in the foyer,  decorated with western symbols, make by local citizens.

Previously, the restaurant was painted white inside, and now it sports maroon accent walls, and an attractive "welcome wall," thanks to the decorating ability of Dawna, who was the "brains" behind the project.

Photo:  The restaurant has a second, somewhat more formal dining room, that's mostly seated for dinner, but is also an overflow for breakfast and lunch, during busy times, especially during weekends.  Note the fireplace is painted maroon,  which is a result of Dawna's decorating expertise.

Photo;  The main dining room, looking towards the foyer, with Dawna behind the counter.  The dining  room showcases more of Dawna's decorating skills.

Photo:  Meet Dawna, my super-friendly server, who delivers my breakfast to me with a smile.  I enjoyed her company, and the fact she shared her decorating expertise with me, and encouraged me to take photos.

Note the door to the kitchen to the left of the photo.  Whenever an order was ready, there would be a loud "ding dong" and Dawna would run into the kitchen to pick up the order.

My breakfast arrived in about 15 minutes after placing my order.  West Winds Restaurant isn't a fast food restaurant, as it's a wonderful food restaurant.

Photo:  Thanks, Dawna, for snapping my photo, as I prepare to enjoy a delicious breakfast that will keep me going for the rest of the day.

Photo:  My "Traditional Favorite" breakfast of two eggs over easy, hash browns bacon, and sourdough toast.  The breakfast was even more delicious than it looks in the photo, and kept me satisfied for the rest of the day.

My breakfast was simply amazing, as it was cooked perfectly, priced right, delivered to me in a timely manner, and presented to my by Dawna, who is one of the friendliest people I've ever met.  The breakfast was delicious, but when you add Dawna's amazingly friendly service, the breakfast was even better.  My tab rang up to a little less than $13.00, but thanks to Dawna's friendly service, I left a $20.00 and I left West Winds Restaurant with a full stomach, and a smile on my face.
