At Hi-Desert Roundup, Chef Andy Cunningham and his family set up a complete restaurant, the Ruff Rock Run Caf which offered delicious breakfast and dinner entr้es.  We enjoyed great food, and we didn't have to cook or do dishes, so that left us more time to enjoy Hi-Desert Roundup, 2010, and the beautiful Mojave desert.


About Chef Andy:  Article gives a lot of background about Chef Andy's operation at the 39th Annual Hi-Desert Roundup.

Friday Dinner:  We enjoy a delicious grilled t-bone steak dinner, along with wonderful side dishes, including Andy's famous fried cabbage.

Saturday Breakfast:  Before the trail run, it was up and at 'em for breakfast, and we enjoyed a perfectly prepared Saturday morning breakfast.

Barbecue Dinner:  In my opinion, the Saturday Night Barbecue Dinner is the highlight of the event, as we enjoy beef, slowly cooked in a wood-fired pit, along with all the side dishes.

Sunday Breakfast:  I broke the mold and enjoyed a breakfast burrito, along with a helping of home style potatoes, covered with sausage gravy.

Sunday Dinner:  We couldn't resist enjoying steak again, but as an added bonus, we got to load up our plates with seafood and potato salad.
