Mimi's Cafe is a small, west coast restaurant chain, with a couple dozen stores in California, and a scattering in Arizona and  a single location in Colorado.  The restaurant chain is noted for great food, friendly service, and fine dining, in an upscale dining room.  You'll enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at all locations, including the Roseville, CA location, across from the Westfield Galleria Mall.

As with all restaurant reviews I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  It's a little past 08:00 in the morning, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, and I've arrived for breakfast at Mimi's Cafe.  Mimi's is located on Galleria Blvd., in Roseville, CA, just across the street from the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, which is a premier mall and shopping destination in northern California.

At this early hour, the restaurant was lightly seated, which made for good photography and for great eating enjoyment.

Photo:  As you enter the restaurant, you'll be meeted and greated by a friendly host/hostess who will seat you, give you a menu, and a glass of water.  At this early hour, the main dining room wasn't being seated, as all breakfasts were being served at the informal dining room to the left, or at the breakfast counter.

Since I wasn't formally greeted, I simply just sort of instinctually went to the left into the small dining room, which seems to be the area of choice when the restaurant is lightly seated during weekday breakfast hours.

Since I'm an "informal" type of diner, it all worked out well for me.

Photo:  It's Autumn, and beer is in season, and Mimi's Cafe serves the beer to go with the season.  "Happy Hour" is also featured.

Photo:  Breakfast on weekday mornings are served in a small, truly informal dining room off to the side, and features a server station, with friendly staff who will truly make your breakfast enjoyable.  Hostess Carrie is at the server station, working on orders.  She seated me and treated me to outstanding service.

Photo:  Looking at the small counter, complete with six stools, into the spacious main dining room.  The dining area of this fine restaurant is HUGE!

Photo:  Mimi's is serious about breakfast, as breakfast is served any time the restaurant is open.  This is the breakfast menu, which is kind of "yuppie" in my opinion, as I don't see any hash browns or gravy.  Whatever... it's all good.

Photo:  This is the way to start out breakfast, with a tall glass of Heineken beer, with condiments on the side. No, I wasn't driving, as I was walking and riding public transportation.

Photo:  Travis, my friendly host, relaxed between orders at the breakfast bar, before delivering my order to me.

Photo:  Meet Travis, my amazingly friendly host, who brought my breakfast to me with a smile.  This fine gentleman treated me with great service, and treated me like family.

Photo:  I'm a happy guy, as I raise a toast to Mimi's Cafe, along with the amazingly friendly service of my host, Travis. I'm looking forward to a great breakfast at Mimi's.

Photo:  From the "Two Egg Platters" section of the breakfast menu, I went with "Ham and Eggs."  How can you beat that for a classic, "Americana" breakfast?  All "Platters" include what Mimi's calls "roasted potatoes," two eggs cooked the way you like them, along with your choice of toast, including white, wheat, rye and sourdough.  I went with my eggs sunnyside up, along with sourdough toast.

The ham patty was a generous, thick cut of ham, perfectly grilled, complete with grill marks.  It was juicy, tender for the perfect centerpiece to this fine breakfast.

The "roasted potatoes" were essentially diced russet potatoes, complete with skins - yummy! - which were seasoned, grilled to a medium golden brown, and sprinkled with oregano.

Eggs are cooked to order, and I requested my eggs to be fried sunny side up, and my eggs didn't disappoint me, as they arrived exactly as ordered, sprinkled with dried, diced parsley flakes.

My choice of toast was sourdough, and my sourdough toast arrived perfectly toasted, and cut into quarters, which is a rarity for Roseville restaurants.  The toast arrived hot, but un-buttered, but a small cup of soft butter was on the side, so I could butter my toast at my desire.  Oh yes!  ... the butter melted on the toast!

My breakfast was simply delicious!  The ham, eggs, potatoes and toast were cooked perfectly, and made for an amazing breakfast.  My breakfast was so "stand-alone" delicious that I didn't even think about enhancing it with Tabasco sauce, jam or ketchup.

Mimi's Cafe, located in Roseville, serves a great breakfast!

Photo:  After the fact... I cut up my ham, buttered my toast, and sprinkled pepper on to my eggs.  Now... I'm going to enjoy an awesome breakfast at Mimi's Cafe... located in Roseville, CA.

My breakfast was simply delicious, and my friendly server, Travis, treated me like family.  You'll pay the "price of admission," but the food is awesome, the dining atmosphere is upscale, and the service is top-notch and super friendly. Fine dining at Mimi's Cafe, located in Roseville, CA.
